последовательные методы принятия решений
В исследовании операций такие, при которых решения принимаются и пересматриваются на основе расширяющейся и уточняющейся информации. Пример задачи, использующей модель последовательного принятия решений: издательство выпускает новую книгу и ежемесячно выясняет количество проданных экземпляров; нужно принять решение о том, целесообразно ли переиздание книги, и если да, то каким тиражом? Если поспешить с решением, возможна ошибка, если промедлить — возможны потери (недополученная прибыль). Таким образом, модели данного вида применяются тогда, когда первоначальная информация недостаточна, а в результате ее дополнительного сбора точность оценок повышается. Как ошибка в оценках, так и отсрочка принятия решения приводят к потерям. Задача состоит в том, чтобы найти в этих условиях оптимальное решение. Процесс последовательного принятия решения является по своей природе адаптивным (см. Адаптивное управление, Адаптивные стратегии).
